Vehicle Concepts, Inc. is a Company that grew from a specialty
wheel importing activity that was begun in 1972 by Ted Waibel.
In
1972 we began to import on an informal basis Borrani wire wheels
for vintage Ferrari, Maserati, and other classic sports cars.
In 1982 we began to import TecnoMagnesio magnesium racing wheels
for sports cars, and in 1994 this activity expanded into magnesium
wheels for motorcycles.
In
1996 Ruote Marchesini became involved with TecnoMagnesio and we
began to import the Marchesini line of motorcycle wheels. At this
same time we founded T.A.W. Vehicle Concepts, Inc. and went forward
on a full time basis. During this same period we also began importing
Brembo products.
In
1999 we purchased the assets of Slater Bros. Inc. who was also
representing Ruote Marchesini and Brembo, and about that same
time became a Distributor for Brembo, North America.
In
2004 we have become a direct importer for both Brembo and Marchesini
products. This new relationship allows us to properly serve Dealers
and OEM's who need volume pricing in order to make their own programs
work.
If
you use motorcycle wheels and braking systems in your product,
we would like to have an opportunity to qualify as a vendor of
your company.
Our
OEM activities have now expanded into working with manufacturers
in China who specialize in everything from forged and cast aluminum,
steel and nylon components, electrical components, and fully assembled
products.
This
is coordinated through Vehicle Parts China who have engineers
in China who totally evaluate each requirement and locate the
proper plant to do the best job for our customer. Having proper
people on the ground to properly represent your interests is the
only way to assure a long term successful relationship.

Since
we have close exclusive relationships with various manufacturers
in Italy and Germany we also supply on an OEM basis motorcycle
and automotive rims and components. We are proud that Companies
like Custom Chrome, Inc, Victory Motorcycles,
Inc, and others are using our products for their bikes.
