The
History of Borrani Vintage WheelsFifty years earlier (in 1922) world-renown Borrani Wheels were
created by Carlo Borrani. Now an 85-year tradition, the company
still known as Ruote Borrani, is legendary for their trademark
alloy Borrani wheels, and their unique collaboration between Carlo
Borrani and Enzo Ferrari, which resulted in more than 120 different
Borrani wheel models. The famous Borrani wire wheels also evolved
into unique bimetal models, based on the same alloy rim technology,
but featuring inserted wheel discs instead of spokes.
The Borrani Wheel Tradition
ContinuesMost impressive is the fact that Ruote Borrani - makers of the
famous Borrani wire wheels- has kept complete technical archives
since their company's inception, so that original specifications
are available for every Borrani wheel made and/or restored --
from their Borrani Wheel Model #RW-0002 in 1922, right up to and
including their Borrani wheel model #RW-4546 from 2006! Their
proud tradition of vintage wheel manufacturing continues to this
day.
