How
to Find the Correct Calipers or Replacement Parts
Brembo calipers have been
found on the world’s finest production and racing motorcycles
since the early 1970’s. Brembo’s original opposed twin-piston
design, the F08, continues in production use to the present date,
and thanks to it’s performance, durability and rebuildability,
still sees many original examples providing solid, reliable braking
on what are now vintage machines. Brembo’s twin-pistons
designs developed into the world-famous four-piston units in the
early 1980’s, and in ever-improving models are responsible for
stopping countless World-class production and competition machines.
Do you deserve anything less on your machine than equipment produced
from over twenty-five years of OEM experience and World Championship
success?
There are several types of Brembo
calipers. TAW stocks the most popular models, and can obtain many
of the more obscure units upon request.
Pads are available for Brembo Calipers only.

If there are no markings on calipers to indicate
piston size(s) or model (existing marks are for casting lot, only),
please use the following methods to determine the correct replacement
or repair parts for your application:
1. If Brembo is original equipment on your motorcycle,
check Brembo OEM applications-Brake Master Cylinders & Calipers
for the part number of the unit fitted to your machine. (Due
to production-line variations by the manufacturers, we recommend
verifying your needs using the next method).
2. Compare your existing unit to the images contained
in the Brembo Calipers section. When you find a match, current
replacement and repair parts numbers will be at hand. Cant
match it up? Call us for further assistance.
