three dimensional dyes, not two dimensional, cookie-cutter dyes
as are most forged wheels. The Marchesini method more completely
forms the grain of the metal in the well and deep seat areas,
resulting in 30% higher mechanical strength.
Forged magnesium also reduces weight, the benefit of which increases
exponentially at higher speeds. For example, as little as one
ounce of weight on a 17 inch rim, adds 25 pounds to the weight
of the bike at 100 miles per hour.
